Swimming Groups

Group 1: For those students who are new to the water. Typically the 4-7 year old age range. We will be teaching the basics of floating, proper kicking techniques and simple arm motions. Most students are comfortable with the use of floats or other assistance in the water.
Group 2: For our experienced swimmers. Typically 8-12 years old. We will be teaching this class the basics of swimming including proper stoke techniques including the side stroke, freestyle, and breaststroke. Students should be comfortable floating on their own and feel comfortable in the water when not assisted by a “noodle”.

For Parents

Parents: We will be asking all parents to stay on the opposite side of the fence, but in the pool area. This is so that your child is not temped to run to you during the class. There is one lifeguard ON DUTY during swim lessons as a safety precaution.
Lap Swim: If you are interested in getting wet yourself during the class, there will be a lane set up for Lap Swim. This will not interfere with the classes being held.
