The
Fitchburg Recreation Department is now accepting
registrations for the upcoming Summer Men’s Softball
League. The registration deadline has
been extended to Friday May 2nd..

The cost
to enter a team in the league is $450.00 per team. This entry
fee includes the cost of 15 team shirts, which will be supplied
through the Recreation Dept. Rosters are limited to 15 players
and the Recreation Dept will accept a limit of 10 teams. Each
team will also be responsible to pay an umpire’s fee
for each game played. If an individual is not a member of
a team but wishes to play, they should contact the Recreation
Dept. directly at 978-345-9572.
Teams
will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. No team
will be scheduled to compete until entry fee is received.
Games will begin in May 2008 and will be played at Dick Charlton
Memorial Softball Field in Coolidge Park.
